Sustainable Acoustic solutions for a sustainable community in Utrecht The Netherlands.

UCO is housed in a former train depot consisting of a great open space with acoustic challenges. We have cladded walls and balconies with white acoustic Pet felt to form a hidden backdrop for the beautifully crafted slatted wooden facade. Telephone rooms and smaller offices were insulated with Métisse cotton insulation and wrapped with acoustic Pet felt. Larger offices were provided with handmade acoustic panels consisting of timber frame, Métisse recycled cotton insulation panels and wrapped in white acoustic Pet felt.
